This is the visual system used on the walks site and the quieter rooms around it. The tokens live in the shared theme. The Journal is a paper column: a date, a still, a note, the film. The examples on this page are the thing itself.

Warm paper in the light. Soft night greens in the dark. Sage from the logo runs through links, labels, and the waves. Both palettes sit here, so you can read them without switching the system theme.

Soft Still Drift
Quiet label
On the walks site, Legal, and Apps, body text uses the system interface font, so it already feels like the machine you are on. Titles use Georgia, a serif that sits a little slower on the page. The second word of the wordmark is italic and takes the sage accent. Labels stay small, tracked, and uppercase.
The Journal is a quieter room. Notes are Georgia throughout, like a quiet book. Dates are written the old way: the 30th of August, 2026. The short name under the date is italic. Place is muted. There is no lesson in the type.
Cards
Cards are the list on the walks site, Legal, Apps, and the Journal index.
Journal
The written afterimage of the films. The index uses the same cards as the walks site. An entry is still one column of paper: date, place, one still, a short note, the film. Then space.
